Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you enter stays on your phone. JSF has no account, no server, no analytics and no ads. We (the developer) never receive, see or sell your data.

What the app stores

On your device only, in the app’s private storage:

• your training profile (sport, goal, experience, days per week, equipment, units, body weight if you enter it, language and preferences);
• your exercises, workouts, sets, notes, workout plans and schedule.

None of this is sent to the developer or to any third party.

Backups

• Export data writes a file with your data and opens your phone’s share sheet. Where that file goes (Files, Google Drive, email…) is your choice and is governed by the service you pick.
• Restore from backup reads such a file back into the app, on your device.
• Android may include the app’s data in your phone’s automatic backup to your Google account, if you have backup turned on in your phone’s settings. That backup is handled by Google under Google’s privacy policy; the developer has no access to it.

Permissions

• Notifications: to tell you when your rest between sets is over. They are created on your phone; nothing is sent over the internet.
• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms): so the rest-over notification arrives on time.
• Vibration: to buzz when the rest is over.

Children

JSF is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app deletes all its data from your phone. Delete any exported files yourself where you saved them.

Changes

If the app ever starts sending data anywhere (for example an optional account to sync between phones), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here.
